These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Taras Huz, Individual Entrepreneur, doing business as watchfol.io ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of the website at https://watchfol.io and any related services (collectively, the "Services").
By accessing or using our Services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, that you have read and understood these Terms, and that you agree to be bound by them. Watchfolio is a portfolio tracking web application that allows users to monitor investments across multiple asset classes including stocks, ETFs, bonds, cryptocurrency, and real estate. Users can import portfolio data, track performance, view analytics, manage dividend calendars, and receive AI-powered portfolio insights.
The Services are provided for your personal and internal business use only. The information provided through the Services, including portfolio data, financial analytics, and AI-generated insights, is for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. You should consult a qualified professional before making any investment decisions.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time without notice or liability.
The Services and all content, features, and functionality thereof — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, software, and the overall design — are owned by the Company and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws of Ukraine and international conventions.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for your personal and internal business purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Services or included software, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of that software, unless permitted by applicable law.
To access certain features of the Services, you must register for an account. You may register using your Google account or by providing an email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary. You must notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion if we believe you have violated these Terms or if your account has been inactive for an extended period.
Watchfolio offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions grant access to additional features as described on our pricing page.
By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method (Visa or Mastercard) on a recurring basis — either monthly or annually, depending on the billing cycle you select — until you cancel your subscription. All payments are processed in US dollars.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You will be charged the then-current subscription fee at the start of each new billing period.
We reserve the right to change subscription prices at any time. We will provide you with reasonable advance notice of any price change. Your continued use of the Services after the price change takes effect constitutes your agreement to pay the updated amount.
Payments are processed by Stripe. By providing your payment information, you authorize Stripe to process payments on our behalf. We do not store your full card details on our servers. Please review Stripe's Privacy Policy for information on how your payment data is handled.
You may request a refund within 14 days of your initial subscription purchase or renewal. Refund requests submitted after 14 days will not be eligible for a refund, except where required by applicable law.
To request a refund, please contact us at [email protected] with your account email and reason for the request. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of the transaction date under EU consumer protection law, provided you have not already used the premium features of the subscription.
You may cancel your subscription at any time by logging into your account settings or by contacting us at [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until the end of the period for which you have already paid. We do not provide partial refunds for unused portions of a subscription period, except within the 14-day refund window described above.
You agree not to engage in any of the following activities in connection with the Services:
The Services may, now or in the future, allow users to post, submit, or share content such as comments, blog posts, or other materials ("Contributions"). By submitting any Contribution, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content in connection with operating and improving the Services.
You represent and warrant that your Contributions do not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights, do not contain defamatory, obscene, or otherwise unlawful content, and comply with these Terms.
We reserve the right to remove any Contribution at our sole discretion and without notice.
The Services may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by us. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites. We encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
The inclusion of any link does not imply our endorsement of the linked website. Access to any third-party website is at your own risk.
Watchfolio includes AI-powered portfolio analysis and insights ("AI Features") powered by third-party AI service providers, including Groq. The AI Features are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial advice.
AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. You should not rely solely on AI-generated insights when making investment decisions. We are not liable for any losses or damages arising from your reliance on AI-generated content.
By using the AI Features, you acknowledge that your inputs and the resulting outputs may be processed by our AI service providers in accordance with their respective privacy policies.
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any financial data, analytics, or AI-generated content provided through the Services.
Financial data displayed in Watchfolio is sourced from third-party providers (including Finnhub, Yahoo Finance, and Financial Modeling Prep) and may be delayed, inaccurate, or incomplete. We make no representations regarding the suitability of any investment or financial information for your particular circumstances.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE COMPANY, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE LESSER OF: (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU HAVE PAID TO US IN THE SIX (6) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE DATE OF THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100).
THESE LIMITATIONS APPLY REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY (CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, OR OTHERWISE) AND EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Company and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your use of the Services; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) any content you submit to the Services.
We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that any content on the Services infringes your copyright, please notify us by sending an email to [email protected] with the following information:
We will review all valid notices and respond appropriately, including removing or disabling access to the infringing content where applicable.
Before initiating any formal dispute resolution process, you and we agree to attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting each other. The party raising the dispute must provide written notice describing the dispute and the relief sought. The parties will attempt to resolve the dispute in good faith for a period of 30 days from receipt of such notice.
If a dispute cannot be resolved through informal negotiations within 30 days, either party may submit the dispute to binding arbitration. The arbitration shall take place in Kyiv, Ukraine, be conducted in English, and be decided by one (1) arbitrator in accordance with the applicable arbitration rules.
The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. Each party shall bear its own costs and attorneys' fees, unless the arbitrator determines otherwise.
Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek emergency injunctive or other equitable relief from a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm pending the resolution of a dispute.
If you are a consumer located in the European Union, you may also have the right to submit a complaint to your local consumer protection authority or use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute not subject to arbitration shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ukraine.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you also benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you reside.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by sending an email notification to the address associated with your account. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.

10. Social Logins
You may register or log in to the Services using your Google account. By doing so, you authorize us to access certain information from your Google account as described in our Privacy Policy. You may revoke this access at any time through your Google account settings.
We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or reliability of any information provided through third-party login services. Your use of Google login is subject to Google's own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
